All My Reviews - Movies, Games and Gadgets

Wow… it has been like 11 days since I last posted. In case you are wondering what I have been doing, well, nothing actually. I have been quite busy with my work lately as work is more important anyway. Without my primary work, I would not be blogging here then.

Upcoming articles would be a review on Saw V and step by step guides on getting Samsung NC10’s wifi to work in Mac OSX86. Yes, the Atheros 5007EG which I had promised like months ago. Well, at least it is very stable now and I can now connect to my home wifi internet connection as soon as I boot into MacOSX86. Erm…. not that immediate though, remember that a program called Kismac has to be run in order to pick up the wifi signals?

I believe that I have all the resources to finish the guide to Atheros 5007EG but I hope that I can post it with pictures as well. Promise is a promise and I am looking forward to getting it done this weekend.

I have not been updating this blog since Christmas. I have copied the pictures of my FM Transmitter but I have not uploaded them to the server. By the way, my sister, Mee and I only watched a few movies while at my sister’s place. Hmmm … I could blame it on the busy shopping spree schedule. We went out for shopping almost every day after Christmas. Even New Year’s day. I felt impressive after I came back from my sister’s place. First, the amount of shops we shopped. Second, the amount we spent and lastly, the places we visited.

Well, among the movies that we watched were quite old; Jurassic Park II and II, Fast and Furious, Two Fast Two Furious, Fast and Furious: Tokyo Drift, Iron Man. The latest movie that we watched was Babylon AD, starring Vin Diesel. I thought it would be one of the great movies of the year but sadly, it was a 90 minutes movie that left us clueless at the end. We could have spent our time better on other movies.

Among the movies that I am waiting to watch are Twilight, Transporter 3, The Spirit and The Day the Earth Stood Still. There are more movies coming soon but these are the ones that I can think of at the moment.

This blog was down during weekends and yesterday too. Well, I do not have the control of it but hopefully, this will be the longest downtime ever. Previously, I only got a maximum of a day’s downtime but this time is quite ridiculous. My last update was on the third of December. Many things happened and I thought of updating during the weekend but the host ran into some problems.

I do not have much update because I have restored my Mac OS X to a clean installation backup. Previously, installation of new programs had made the WiFi failed. I knew that I have to restore it when the repair disk permission failed too. Till then, I will make a backup again before I install any programs.

When I was having my lunch, I suddenly thought of a game that will work well on my Samsung NC10. It is the UEFA Champions League Season 2000. Okay, it is an eight years old game but I really enjoyed playing it last time. It is not complicated to play and I am sure that it will keep me company for a long time. By the way, I still have the saved games in my external drive but I need to dig out the CD from my stack of CDs!
