I have been playing UEFA Champions League 2000 these few days. As usual, I started off by playing the lowest division in English Premier League. I am managing team Scarborough now. The players have average ratings of 20 out of 100. Well, that is still acceptable since every other club in the lowest division is about the same. Things will get tougher if I manage to move up to higher division.

Normally, I will try to buy some new players with higher ratings but cheap while selling off some lower rating players. I hope that will maintain the club’s performance when moving up to higher division. So far, I have played about 18 games and in second position. Only the top club in the division will be promoted to higher division. I will be disappointed if I lose out because it will take me another whole season to get to higher division.

The game needs to have the CD in the drive in order to play. Thus, I created an image out of it and made a virtual drive everytime I want to play. The total image size is only about 150MB and that is the space for a game made eight years ago. Nowadays, it is amazing that a normal game easily takes up to a full DVD space which is about 4GB.
